Bug Description

Binary package hint: mpris-remote

Worked only with audacious, but not with banshee or rhythmbox.
What's the difference between mpris used by soundmenu and mpris of audacious, which does not show up in the soundmenu?

Tried on ubuntu natty

The Sound Menu, Banshee and Rhythmbox all support MPRIS version 2, which is not compatible with MPRIS version 1.
A quick look at the code of mpris-remote seems to show that it only supports MPRIS v1.
