Bug Description

[ 46.505647] compiz[1159]: segfault at 1200019 ip 00a37408 sp bf890c20 error 4 in libstartup-notification-1.so.0.0.0[a33000+7000]

I should start "Ubuntu Classic Desktop (no effect)" to obtain a working GNOME system. Otherwise if I select "Ubuntu Classic Desktop" only background and mouse appears.
