I experienced an Xorg crash when pressing either Alt+Tab, Alt+F2 does not display the run application dialog, when Xorg crashed, programs like Chrome / Firefox still run but my keyboard is useless yet my mouse works fine.

I am using an Asus F8VA laptop with ATI Radeon HD3650 video card.

Happy to provide more details on request.

You can move windows around but you cannot type anything.

Bug also affects me but it happens at random times.

Sorry to reply again but it's not random for me, every alt-tab crashes it without fail.

Same here; Compiz crashed on alt-tab, and my mouse worked but my keyboard became useless. (This might be an artifact of Unity or something?) Manually running Metacity let me log in to post this.

I don't believe Launchpad uploaded my crash report since I marked it as a dupe, but I can send it out of /var/crash if anyone wants it. The exact offending instruction was a bit different:

In response to Chris' comments above, I have also recently updated but the issue has not been resolved for me.

I am using a Radeon 3650HD.
