Bug Description

Binary package hint: libpam-ldap

~$ passwd

passwd: Have exhausted maximum number of retries for service
passwd: password unchanged

I can't change any users password, but authentication works against ldap or /etc/passwd.

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 329067, and will mark it as such.
My reading of bug 329067 is that you should be able to replace 'use_authtok' with 'try_authtok'.

Please try that, read the other bug, and if you believe you have a different issue, please un-dupe this bug.
