Epiphany doesn't open https://

Bug Description

Step A: Epiphany works
======================
1. Install epiphany-browser
2. start epiphany
3. open an encrypted page like https://launchpad.net/ or https://bugs.freedesktop.org/
4. see that everything works
5. close epiphany

Step B: Epiphany works as the default browser
=============================================
1. Open the preferred applications dialog
2. Select Epiphany as the default browser
3. Open the run dialog (Alt-F2)
4. Enter a url (https://launchpad.net/)
5. See epiphany open that URL
6. Close epiphany

Step C: Doesn't work from thunderbird
====================================
1. Open thunderbird
2. Open an email containing a link
3. Click on the link and wait for epiphany
4. Try to open https://launchpad.net/ in the epiphany process spawned by thunderbird
5. You'll see an error like "this page uses encryption, epiphany can't display it"
