Bug Description

With gnome-panel and the "indicator-applet-complete" applet, I'm able to access system indicators (and consequently, every other indicator) by pressing Super + S. This feature, important both to advanced users and in the accessibility area, isn't currently available in wingpanel.

My opinion is that the distribution should configure this and not individual applications. Otherwise it is impossible or very hard for users to change if it conflicts with something else.

Either way, a keyboard access is still needed.

The linked branch adds the ability to assign a custom shortcut to any indicator using the command "wingpanel --toggle-indicator INDICATORNAME" where INDICATORNAME is the name of an indicator such as "session"
