I also have this problem, though my gdk-critical is on line 5148 and I've only got it and the DSP error displayed. I think for some reason the packaging outputs to /dev/dsp which was done away with in Maverick, so I hink the problem is that the package hasn't been reconfigured properly for Maverick and later.
