This not a bug . an installation error. while installing glchess power supply failed as there was no back up installation failed . that is it. my attempt to reinstall/uninstall failed. But the program gl chess is already listed and running . but i cannot add any other program because of an error message,'the last installation is failure', repeating. help

This is not a bug in gtkglext, not sure what it is, but I suggest you contact a support channel next time.
Also, lucid is EOL now.
