Typing 'c' in the search box plays/pauses the music

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Hitting the 'c' key while in the search field will play or pause the music. The result is you cannot search directly for anything containing a 'c'. You have to search for either the first or last part of the phrase that would have contained the 'c'. Very annoying.

I couldn't reproduce this bug. I can search for "the cure" and the music keeps playing.

I just noticed that the shortcut key under menu Control for Play is "C". All other shortcuts are more obscure combinations of ALT, CTRL, or function keys. What should the default be and is that set in some config file?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Oneiric Ocelot.
