brasero CD data burning results in empty or corrupted disc

Burning a data CD with MP3 files using Brasero resulted in empty disc. Another attempt with verification option turned on (test run) resulted in unreadable disc. Same hardware used under Windows Vista with Nero works fine.

I removed Brasero after I discovered it useless (and I lost 2 CD-Rs), that's why it shows "not installed".

I can reproduce this. I am unable to bring .mp3 files to a disk.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue?
