Binary package hint: usplash-dev

Edgy amd64

commands used:

make
make install
update-alternatives --set usplash-artwork.so /usr/lib/usplash/eft-theme.so

error message:

update-alternatives: Cannot find alternative `/usr/lib/usplash/eft-theme.so'.

You need to install it as alternative first. (and NO, the example
makefile will not do that)

you might wanna run this first:
 sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so usplash-artwork.so /usr/lib/usplash/eft-theme.so 10
