I can not delete folder

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I'm trying to delete folder using command line: u1sdtool --delete-folder=ID... but nothing happens. I just wait...

It looks like you have an issue with your metadata. Sometimes because of running the ubuntuone-client when having the metadata from another user, it fails with a lot of MakeDir and MakeFile issues, like ones in your exceptions log.

the workaround

1. Quit the Ubuntu One client
2. Backup your ~/Ubuntu One folder and all folders synced with Ubuntu One
3. Delete the files from your ~/Ubuntu One folder and other User Designated Folders
4. Delete ~/.local/share/ubuntuone (the command for this would be: rm -R ~/.local/share/ubuntuone)
5. Start the Ubuntu One client
6. Copy the files and folders from your backed up ~/Ubuntu One/ folder and other UDFs back to their original folders.
