Bug Description

Hi

When reassigning a bug to another project with natty's Firefox 4.0b9, the spinning animation spins forever and the new project name never appears; the project is changed correctly though.

I am certain this is a duplicate of an bug from two years ago. Reassigning a bug should *not* be using JavaScript. The failed feature was disabled. No user should be seeing a spinner.

I cannot reproduce this; I always see the old bug task form.

The code to disable bugtask retargeting should be disabled, but it is enabled for the latest version of firefox. The feature still does not work.

The quickest solution is to update the rules so that *no* browser gets the ajax feature.

A better solution would be to make the feature work. I cannot find the original bug about this issue. I recall the problem is that the form is broken by the canonical url change for the bug task.

Tim has a fix for this. It hasn't been deployed but has landed. This was for bug 443217, so I'll dupe against that one.
