the file res/res_company_view.xml is missing on __openerp__.py

Hello Christophe,

We have one module named "multi_company" in official addons. After installing that module, you will get the menu "Default Company per Object" in the system.

The base module is installed in every basic configuration of an openerp. So the menu for making the multi company environment is not suitable in the basic configuration. We have made the extra module for setting the multi company environment i.e "multi_company". So anyone can make the system as per requirements.

Hope you will agree with this and I am closing this bug for now.

I agree on Christophe's comment.

While the object related to "Default Company per Object" is implemented with base module, the views for accessing this object is not installed with base module.

Views are only installed with module "multi_company". This module has numerous dependancies and in our project where we use only accounting and project, it forces us to install procurement, sale and stock which has no sense.

Don't you think it shoul be better to include views on "Default Company per Object" directly in the "base" module ?

This is not a bug rather than it's your suggestion to put a "Default Company per Object" in base module.

And also this is not a generalize issue so before implementing, we need more discussion on this.

So currently I am setting this as an "Opinion", experts will share their views.
