Bug Description
Binary package hint: partman-md
Release: 10.10 or current development
Variant: server
Architecture: i386 or amd64
When creating RAID configurations using the installer screens, each RAID device is automatically created with a single partition which can then be configured on a particular mount point/specified format. This generates complex RAID configurations for systems with larger numbers of filesystem mount points.
It is possible to create multiple partitions within a single RAID device (see [0]); it would be great if the installer supported this as an option as it would make RAID setup potentially much quicker:
a) single physical partition on each disk in the system
b) single RAID device using the partitions provided by the physical disks
c) multiple partitions can then be configured within the RAID device as then would be for any other type of non-lvm device.
