Bug Description

1) I have Linux Mint 10(Julia) Gnome 32-bit edition
shurick@petit ~ $ uname -a
Linux petit 2.6.35-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP Sun Sep 19 20:34:50 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
My hardware is Acer Aspire One D255 Netbook.
2) I did not do anything special. I was just browsing in Firefox. I believe I had just opened new tab in that moment but I'm not sure. There were several applications opened: Gnome Terminal with a few tabs, Firefox with approximately 7-10 tabs, VLC player (it did not play anything in that moment). And one unusual thing - I had Ktorrent running from another computer with Gentoo using ssh -X. It was minimized to tray.
3) At some time all GUI interaction has stopped. I was not able to move mouse, system did not react on any keypresses, including Ctrl+Alt+F1 (F2, F3), Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and Ctrl+Alt+Del. However I was able to ping my netbook from another computer.

These lines are from my /var/log/messages file which may be useful:

I'm getting freezes (no keyboard or mouse response) on an Acer Aspire one 722, which seems to be a conflict between the atl1c ethernet driver and the broadcom wifi driver. It doesn't lock up if either
   a) the ethernet cable is plugged in and wifi is unused
   b) the ethernet driver is not loaded
