installed from PPA on Ubuntu Lucid:

reports are not send via email.

Confirmed. The bug is caused by too early clearing of a variable. Fix committed.

Seems the problem still exists on:
Ubuntu 11.04 (natty)
Linux version 2.6.38-12-generic (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.5.2-8ubuntu4)
Simple Backup Suite 0.11.4
as Test mail button returns the following:
[Errno -2] Name or service not known

 Certainly do like sbackup's capabilities and have been using for some time now.
As a new Linux user please let me know if there is something I may have missed or if I can supply more information.
