Desktop launchers are opened in gedit instead of launching

Bug Description
Reproducing:
1. create launcher on desktop
2. find it by name using synapse and "launch" it
3. hit "Enter"
Expected behavior: launcher is err… launched
Actual behavior: launchers' .desktop file is opened in text editor
Not to mention, that launcher's icon is not shown, and launcher "friendly name" as well.
