Bug Description
Binary package hint: ttf-bitstream-vera
When using the Canon i450 with the bjc800 driver, the Bitstream Vera Sans font prints either a solid black box or a weird scribbley thing with two dots above it (like a 'c' with a line through the middle, a tail, and two dots on top) instead of the Cyrillic letter ё. It does, however, show up correctly on the monitor. This does not happen when printing, for example, using the Arial font.

Does this bug still show up in Hardy? If it does, what about in Intrepid?
