Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpowersave
kpowersave does something weird on when I open/close the lid of my laptop.
I haven't found out what it does, but music stops for a second when I close the lid. Also, when I open the lid, the screen is not restored. It seems to be powered but black, like a screensaver, yet it is not any screensaver, but something like screen-standby. There is no configuration to avoid this. I tried every setting in Kpowersave configuration.
Nothing of this happens when kpowersave is not running (even if powersaved is running).

Can you check latest version in feisty (0.7.2)? It includes one patch related to blanking the screen that may help in your particular case.
