Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

 Ubuntu 10.10
Rhythmbox 0.13.1

I am trying to rip Cd's into Ogg Vorbis format but it is missing from the preferred format list. I have tried reinstalling Rhythmbox to no avail, also suggested was using 'gnome-audio-profiles-properties' which shows the Ogg Vorbis profile but it doesn't show up in Rhythmbox.

By "Preferred Format List", are you talking about "Preferred Format" options under Edit -> Preferences -> Music -> Preferred Format? I see .ogg listed there, though admittedly I haven't tried ripping an audio CD with rhythmbox yet (don't know if I even have any :-).

'Preferred Format' has a list of the available formats Ogg is not one of them but if I choose Edit then it appears (Ogg), but it still does not appear in 'Preferred Format' so I have to choose something like MP3 or .flac which I don't want and convert back to Ogg.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.
