Bug Description

Binary package hint: bacula

On a fresh ubuntu 10.10 (64bit)server install with basically only bacula added I do not get any menu when selecting
file, settings or help. Running this remote over a "ssh -X" connection

I also suspect I do not get popup menus and probably other stuff. Since I have not run the program before I do not know exactly what to expect but the problem is behaving very similar to what skype does on my ubuntu 10.10 laptop where I also do not get any menu or popup. I had to install skype with the static libraries to make that app work.

So it's probably some generic QT problem showing it's ugly head.

Doesnt sound like a bacula specific bug.

hmm very strange I moved the window to the second screen and then the menu show up so this is
1. a problem with qt or
2. a problem with the x server.

Wonder if there is some simple qt program that can be used as a test case.

but feel free to move this bug report over to QT for a start.

We can close this now. I upgraded the graphics driver to a later one and now the problem is gone.
