Binary package hint: edubuntu-artwork

trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 10.10 to edubuntu and edubuntu-artwork along with initramfs-tools and vmlinuz would not install. I am running this live from USB. Sorry I cannot give more info. I am a noob at linux / ubuntu, however, I do enjoy learning everything I possibly can about it.
