Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I briefly got it working, but now it has stopped again. I asked on IRC and was told to file a report here. When I start it, it kills openbox, and then does not start itself. It opens an xterm window in the upper-right corner of the screen. I am using Lubuntu 10,10.

Well, it isn't lying, you don't have a GLXFBConfig for depth 32. Do you have something in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/? This appears to be a configuration issue.

Unfortunately, those two files very frequently vanish or become zero-length for no apparent reason.

You don't seem to have anything special in your xorg.conf, can you try moving it aside (sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.bak) and restart X? If that doesn't help it's going to be a driver issue.
