Bug Description
Binary package hint: empathy
The empathy window seems to want to grow width wise as I type to fit the text rather than to wrap it. This is annoying enough but when the entry is long or quick enough this crashes my gnome session leaving me to log in again.
To replicate write a say 40 characters copy and repeatedly paste it. After a short time the empathy windows gets to the width of the screen then goes gray and then the gnome session crashes.
I expect to be able to write as much text as I like in the empathy text entry box without it crashing gnome, what happened was gnome crashed.
I'd like to be able to write as much text as I like without the window resizing itself, what I get is an anooying flashing window that covers over the application I have it next to and needs resizing after I've sent the text.

I'm sorry, but I can't understand your report. Where are you writing? In a chat window? In the contact list window? Can you attach a screenshot of the problem?
Thanks in advance.
