Thanks for reporting this and making Ubuntu better.

I ran gcalctool from the Terminal and noted the following error was printed when I clicked the menu item "Report a Problem...":
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 5, in <module>
  File "/usr/share/launchpad-integration/launchpadintegration/main.py", line 35, in main
    hdlr = logging.StreamHandler(strm=sys.stderr)
TypeError: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'strm'

I also tried other programs, like gedit and software-center and they too print the same error when selecting "Report.." from the menu. This leads me to believe the problem is with launchpad-integration, rather than the individual programs.

Changed in gcalctool (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed
affects: gcalctool (Ubuntu) → launchpad-integration (Ubuntu)

Checked a bit more, and it turns out "Get help online", "Translate this application" and "Report a problem" are currently not working and all printing the same error in Natty.

Changed in launchpad-integration (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Triaged
importance: Undecided → High

thank you for the work, I've fixed it in natty by dropping the argument it will avoid breaking again if there another renaming since the default value is the one which was used before
