Bug Description
Binary package hint: git-buildpackage
I'm testing this against a self-compiled 0.5.4 version of gbp. Running lucid, it's not easy for me to test later releases. My apologies if this has already been dealt with upstream.
git-import-orig will not import a *.tgz file. The same file imports just fine as *.tar.gz. Would be nice if git-import-orig did the right thing by default.
