current system for relating fullsize & thumbnail images in collection is unstable

The current process for inserting a new image pair into a collection:

-In the /dashboard area, select the 'Photos:add' link & you are taken to the upload form
-You must select weather the photo to be uploaded is a thumnail or a full sized image before uploading
-The descriptions of the relating images must match exactly, in order for the sql to put the 2 images on the same page & in their appropriate sections on the /Collections page.

This system works, if followed to the T, but it's ripe with error potential. There's no method in place to prevent duplicate matches (more than 2 images with exact same description or more than 1 thumbnail or full size image connected).

This method was put in place before I had access to phpmyadmin. Ideally, a new way of associating these images should be put in place, involving a new table dedicated to the associations of the images to the collections.

This was a huge issue for stability of the collections pages & the dashboard & has been resolved. Everything still needs to be styled, but the big thing is, thumbnails & full-size images are now connected in a meaningful way & once they are associated with each other, they display in their appropriate collection on the main site.

Blood sweat & tears on this one, but biggest problem is down :)
