Bug Description
Binary package hint: pastebinit
I think paste.debian.net changed something in their parsing and thus that pastebin no longer works. I don't run the latest release but I don't see any changes between 1.1-1 and 1.1-3 that should affect this.
$ pastebinit /tmp/test.txt
http://
$ pastebinit -b http://
http://
$ dpkg -l pastebinit | grep ii
ii pastebinit 1.1-1 command-line pastebin client
My system is running an up-to date lucid.

Nothing is broken with paste.debian.net ... castiana: ~/data/ code/pastebinit $ cat pastebinit | python pastebinit -b http:// paste.debian. net -a "short" paste.debian. net/104167/
It's just that they added some restrictions:
stgraber@
http://
You need to make sure your content is at least 3 lines long and your username is 10 chars or shorter, otherwise it gets rejected.
Marking as Won't Fix as there's much we can do until pastebinit know how to deal with xml-rpc (and have a generic way of doing it).
