Every time I try to open my Home Folder it or any other document based directory it opens the rhythmbox instead and then crashs.

Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I am currently using Ubuntu 10 based in i386 and the problem is

Every time I try to open my Home Folder it or any other document based directory it opens the rhythmbox instead and then crashes the system.
I've try many things to try to circumvent this but seems like its not working .

That's why I came here for seeking some help.

Thank you for your bug report. It seems you associated folders with rhythmbox (e.g. by right-clicking a folder and chosing "Open with"), unfortunately the "Remember this setting" option is activated by default (bug #662194).
To fix the issue, try:
1. Press Alt+F2 and enter "nautilus" to start the file manager
2. Right click on any folder and chose "Open with Other Application…"
3. Chose "File Browser"
