DXF file format output

Is it possible the "pcb" to be printed also in "dxf",
"jpeg", "tiff" and other graphics file format? Thank

The postscript output can be converted to other
graphics formats with ghostscript. I assume the
gerber plots can be converted to dxf too, although
I don't use dxf so I haven't looked specifically for
that type of tool.

Adding such capabilities to pcb itself would make
pcb significantly more complex. Perhaps a
compromise would be to allow for output filters?
Then you could attach a script to a printer "type"
to post-process the output.

I'm in the proccess of writing an output filter pcb2dxf.

I would like it to be a single pass translator written in C.

I hope to put something pre alpha in the geda-dev mailing list
soon.
