Bug Description

Several times I have encountered a segfault when clicking the "Unselect" button in the netlist window when a non-rattted net fragment (double-click in netlist window, '*' by the net name) is "found" (highlighted using Ctrl-F).

Forgot to mention that PCB was compiled from source pulled from CVS on 2008-05-11, running on Fedora 7.

Are you still using PCB and able to reproduce this? I played around a bit and was unsuccessful in reproducing it. Can you give steps to reproduce and/or get a backtrace when the segfault happens?

Can you reproduce it with 20100929 ?

I am marking this as "Fix Committed", since it was probably fixed in late December (if not much earlier) when Peter C. made several commits regarding the netlist window's memory management. (There was an incorrect sizeof, and a NULL dereference, as I recall.)

I have followed the original report's instructions under valgrind, and everything appears to be on the level.
