wishlist - ufw support for appmenu indicator

Binary package hint: ufw

It would be great if ufw (at least the package for ubuntu) could support the appemenu which is becoming the standard in ubuntu with 11.04.

Thank you for reporting a bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This feature (some sort of 'ufw-notify') is on the roadmap (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityTeam/Roadmap#Unscheduled%20Wishlist%20Items). While it is planned, the feature is not actively being worked on right now. I do imagine its priority will increase once the network-manager app-indicator work is done, since this would likely also need network-manager integration to complete.

Jamie, thanks for the prompt reply, but I think that I was misunderstood (I probably didn't express myself well enough).
I wan not referring to the "indicatior applet", but to the appmenu applet (what used to be called "global menu") where all the menu items of the current window appear as part of the gnome-panel. (Very Mac OS like).

SB, your bug would be with the gufw application then. That is a frontend for ufw and should get a separate bug.
