Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

After updating ubuntu 10.10 (actually to xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.12.0-1ubuntu5.1) the system freezes when using FN+Cursor right/left to change the brightness level.

I'm working with an Acer Aspire 5810TZ with Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset.

Is there a way to fix the problem? Because I`m using a notebook and often need to change the brightness level.

Would be very pleasant to get help.

THX
