Bug Description

Binary package hint: ddclient

When configuring the package and selecting option "Find public IP", the configuration file (/etc/ddclient.conf) is generated incorrectly. In my case with "use=if, if=wlan0" instead of "use=web".

Which version of ddclient are you using? Or which distribution of Ubuntu?

This bug (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=285007) appears to be related, and has an old patch, which does not apply anymore.
