Ok, I'm not directly affected by the bug, because I found the setting, disabled it and now I have got my good old gnome dialogs back. I have no idea how and why the setting was changed. It wasn't me. And I thought it must be some openoffice.org problem, so scoured the internet for a long time now before i finally landed here. I would vote for removing the option altogether and just use gnome-dialogs if openoffice. org-gnome is installed. Who would want to use the super-ugly "standard dialogs" ??? I can't imagine. And who wants to use them can still uninstall openoffice. org-{gtk, gnome}.
