irpsion5 claims "Expecting mtu to be 2045"

Hi,

Whilst trying to send data to my Psion5 (yup, it's old), irpsion5 proclaimed the following...

root@dragonfly:~# irpsion5 -s xorg.conf.new
Sending to Symbian EPOC
Expecting mtu to be 2045, investigate!
Problem: only sent 2039 of 2044
root@dragonfly:~#

This appears to be an identical issue to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=569289

However, when receiving data from the Psion, it works correctly although with a similar error output.

root@dragonfly:~# irpsion5 -r -v
Expecting mtu to be 2045, investigate!
