Bug Description

Binary package hint: kile

Kile crashes whenever I change and save any setting. But the setting itself (any) is saved when I load Kile again. This behaviour observed since Ubuntu 10.04 and Kile 2.1 b4. Currently running Ubuntu 10.10. Removing Kile completely and reinstalling didn't help...

Hi, I can't reproduce this here, can you give some exact steps to reproduce the crash and try to get a backtrace of the crash please?

Hi, thanks for replying.

A sample sequence is:

Load Kile (beta 4 or 5) -> go to Settings -> Kile settings -> Fonts&Colors -> change the current font -> click OK.

Then Kile crashes and the window Kile - The KDE crash handler appears. Backtrace below:

Application: Kile (kile), signal: Segmentation fault
