Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
I'm sorry if this is the wrong package--but it happens so much in KPackageKit that it's a huge hassle.
Whenever I install packages in KPackageKit, when it prompts for the password, it pops up a box with a drop-down user list that initially says "Select User," and I have to choose the user I'm logged in as before I can type in my password.
This is silly. It should select the current user automatically, and put the cursor and focus in the password field. This is how it worked in KDE 3.5 in Kubuntu Hardy--this is a regression.

Yes, I totally agree with you bug, I wrote that piece of code some years ago but some how someone broke it. It should be easy to fix, I'll try to fix it but the best place would it to be in bugs.kde.org so the new maintainers can see it.
Thanks.
