Closing maximized windows results in a duplicated top bar

Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

If I close any window while maximized, I get a duplicated "top panel" the next time I open it. If I unmaximize it and then close, the problem goes away until I close it while maximized again. Screenshot included.
