Function naming convention ?

I was wondering the other day if the function names are correct and easy to use/remember while coding (name completion is our friend here).
Now we have function names like dxf_malloc_arc() and dxf_read_arc_struct() etc.
In the GTK I see names like gtk_dialog_new () which differ from the current style used in libdxf.
In Cairo I see names like cairo_push_group_with_content (), just "cairo" as a prefix, which is more in line with libdxf namespace (dxf prefix).
