Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
When running inkscape on Ubuntu Maverick, after initially showing the entire top menu in the global menubar, the menu items disappear, leaving an empty menu, which is really irritating. If this could be fixed that would be ideal.

could you try if that's still an issue in natty? recent updates fixed several issues and some similar to that bug
