crashed on me during the initial install of ubuntu on my netbook. quite embarrassing.

Crash after Windows 7 installs on system first partitions.
It did not crash before windows 7 installation
Samsung R530 out of the box

Ubiquity crashes if I select the third party software install option. Hope this can help you

I was able reproduce !
If ther is a swap partition on the disk I want install to: it crashes
If I swapoff before starting the installation, it is OK

Also deselected the third party software option to workaround this issue. I am btw also trying to create a dual boot configuration with Windows 7.
