Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

The title summarizes it. However, to elaborate, clicking on "Desktop", "Documents", "Music", "Pictures", "Videos", and "Downloads" does the same thing. Clicking on "Computer" works as intended. If I try to open a drive from the "Places" menu option, it will also open VLC instead. The "Search for Files", "Network", and "Connect to Server" options also work as intended.

Bug #667071 is the same bug, but with Archive manager opening all times, so something is changing folder associations to the wrong application. Please see comment 10 of bug #667071 for a workaround.
