Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

Trying to launch Firefox results in error message "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system", even though Firefox is not running - confirmed with System Monitor.
Tried restarting, completely uninstalling and reinstalling but with same result.

Can't be certain as can't open to check but searching file system it would appear to be 3.6.13.
At any rate it was installed by default with Ubuntu 10.10 package and have run update manager.

Yes, that should be on an up-to-date maverick, thus reassigning this bug to firefox 3.5 package.

affects: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu) → firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu)
