Confirming. I told some one about the program being useful in #ubuntu and he told me the System button wasn't working. Sure enough, tested it myself and it's broken. Got a little more info attached via running normally in terminal followed by a gdb run attached to the PID. Furthermore I'm running AMD64 so it's not an i386 only bug.
