[SRU regression] linux dm-crypt fails to load modules following grub and prior to passphrase entry

On my dm-crypt fully encrypted hard drive (all of it, except /boot) after the grub screen and before passphrase entry screen I have fails loading modules reported to screen, so:

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.
$ lsb_release -rd

$ uname -r

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic.

I have same problem. Using 10.10.

After a complete new installation, getting messages at boot.

modprobe: FATAL: could not load /lib/modules/2.6.35-24-generic/modules.dep: No such file or directory

But goes on booting normally.

Tried boot in recovery mode and made -> desmod -a and reboot, without luck.
