Bug Description

New user - don't know if this is connected. I was attempting to install Ubuntu 10.10 as a standalone OS on my laptop and the installation stopped at the user information screen (my name, computer name, password, etc.); the forward button would not come alive. I muddled around the issue somehow (not familiar with the command line operations) and then I sww a message indicating there was a crash report. So here it is.
