Bug Description

I was browsing through many tabs (40 or so), and then my system said my /home was completely filled (I was doing nothing to get it crammed) and Firefox crashed.

Hello Juan,

Thank you for the bug report, I cannot seem to reproduce this problem on Edgy with 2.0.0.1, does this happen every time? Or was it a one time crash?

Thanks again, Alex.

Hello Alex,

It's never happened again in the same way; I mean I haven't got this full disk warning again, but it would be odd since now I have 45 Gb of free space.

But it still keeps crashing every now and then (though it doesn't launches any bug report to file) and I've noticed it's Google Chat-related (the one included in Gmail webpage) 'cos I'm not a regular chatter, but when it crashes I'm always doing it.

Thank you for your time.

Thank you for the bug report. Could you please install firefox-dbg (these are the firefox debugging symbols) and try to obtain a backtrace (or crash report) by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs
This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Hmmm ... so I guess there has been no crash report generated.

Can you somehow reproduce this, so we might be able to gather more information?

I am sorry for the noise ... ignore my last statement.

We probably don't need a report here. This is most likely known to the firefox developers. In case its not we will come back to you.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
