Bug Description

Binary package hint: autofs5

I have an autofs daemon running and mounting NFS shares over /mnt/auto directory. Whenever i perform restart of the system (using reboot command) i can see that during umountfs stage info about /mnt/auto is being busy is displayed, then information about remount in ro mode. Then i can see the Segmentation Fault message and none of the filesystems are cleanly umounted. The result is that during the boot fsck is being run on all fs and correct errors. I beieve this is quite critical bug because it may result with data loss.

I have fixed that issue by excluding autofs mounts from umounting during shutdown. I am attaching patch to this post.

Apologies but I have already realized that I had raised bug for not appropriate package. The file fixed is /etc/init.d/umountfs which belongs to sysvinit (i should read man for dpkg much closer). I have raised a bug #695804 which affects correct area so if you can somehow link these bugs together or remove the one in autofs5 that would be great.
